The latest SoftSymbols™ ETC 4.1 Combo Pack for Vw2018.

What's new in version 4.1? The SoftSymbols 4.1 verion of the ETC Object Libraries includes significant equipment additions and upgrades to the SoftSymbols ETC LED Object Library, coupled with major overhauls to the SoftSymbol ETC Tungsten and ETC Selator Striplight Object Libraries. All three libraries have been certified up-to-date and complete, containing all devices, LED engines [arrays.] and wattages as of January 2024. Collectively, these libraries allow SoftSymbols to maintain its standing as the gold standard for Vectorworks lighting resources.

Slim and Trim: All three libraries have been purged and all relevant 3D components have been converted to generic solids in an effort to minimize resource bloat and keep SoftSymbols as sleek and fast as possible.

New in the ETC Tungsten and Selator Striplght Object Libraries: The ETC Tungsten Object Library has been overhauled and simplified to increase ease attaching Label Legends. The ETC Selador Striplight Object Library has been redefined to better adhere to UTF-8 nomenclature, and been updated with 3D beam and field angle information for every product line.

New in the ETC LED Object Library: Version 4.1 adds the new ColorSource Spot V and  the ColorSource Spot VXT ip65 product lines. Each product line includes resources with all the standard barrels, zooms, and EDLT tubes. Each product line provides two versions of each spot device; one indicating beam spread with slashes or lines in the lens, and a second with numeric text to indicate the same information.Other new fixtures: The fos/4 F10 Lustr8, and fos/4 F10 HDR refources.

Scrutinized for accurate lengths and ease of construction: All LED spot cut sheets have been re-scrutinized and 2D components have been redrawn to accurately reflect the overall as-built length of spot bodies and lens tubes for the Source Four-Series 3 XDLT, HDR and Lustr spot fixtures. The entire Linear product line has also been rebuilt to simplify attaching Label Legends and visually allowing segretated data to be displayed for each cell. This reconstruction has been applied to every CourSource Linear 1, Linear 2, and Linear 4 lighting device.

Wrap-up: This upgrade for the entire ETC LED product line has resulted in over 90 updated and improved resources, as well as an addition of over 65 new resources, increasing the total number of fixtures in the library to over 840 resources, which also includes:

Source Four LED Series 3 Fixture Lines: The complete Source Four Series 3 fixture line, equipped with either Lustr HDR or X8 LED light engines, powering all lens choices. Resources are grouped into two collections, exhibiting either slashes or numbers in the lenses to denote beam spread. Additional fixtures feature Enhanced Definition Lens Tubes [EDLT.]

Expanded ColorSource Fixture Lines: Cyc units and Fresnels equipped with ColorSource LED engines. PARs equippped with either Deep Blue or Pearl LED arrays, joining additional profile units: ColorSource jr's or ColorSource Spots equipped with either Deep Blue or Pearl LED arrays. These are all additions to the ColorSource Linear 1, 2, and 4 libraries, including 3D components hung from battens, sitting on the deck, or hung "on end" from vertical sidelight hanging positions. The ColorSource Linear product lines also include fixtures equipped with either Deep Blue or Pearl LED arrays.

Expanded Source 4wrd Fixture Line: The next addition to the Source 4wrd fixture line, adding the Source 4wrd Color array to both profile fixtures and PAR product lines. The complete Source 4wrd fixture line, packing CRI rated 80+ or 90+ LED engines, powering all lens choices, The fixture line is provided with both slashes or numbers/text in the lenses. Also includes applicable fixtures utilizing Enhanced Definition Lens Tubes [EDLT]. The Source 4wrd PARs also include single arrays packing CRI rated 90+ LED engines, presented with all lens choices, The entire PAR fixture line is provided with both slashes or text in the lenses.

Expanded Irideon FPZ Fixture Line, New Irideon WLZ Fixture Line: The complete fixture line, featuring narrow, medium, and wide lenses, equipped with CRI rating of 80+, 90+, 4K, and 5K. There's two sets of fixtures; one set consists of hybrid instruments installed as a canopy, a second set hung from a batten, and the third set shows the hybrid symbols connected to overhead ceiling track. This product line package is replicated as the WLZ product line; same lenses, same three confiturations of canopy, hung from batten, or handing from track.

fos/4 Fresnels and Panels: The complete fos/4 product range, equipped with the Lustr X8 and Daylight HDR LED arrays; small, medium and large Panels, as well as the fos/4 Fresnels, featuring battery pack inputs.

Desire, LED Cyc Fixture Libraries: The complete Desire D22, D40XT, and D60XTI libraries, completing the Desire series; and all current engine variations of the LED Cyc and the LED Fresnel fixtures.

ColorSource Libraries: The entire ColorSource PAR and ColorSource Spot fixture range [including all lens possibilities]. The Studio HD and the Series 2 Daylight, Lustr, and Tungsten LED Profiles [with both slashes or numbers in the lenses]. The HXT library includes the addition of the Source 4-HXT 25-50 degree Zoom.

Source Four Mini Libraries: Complete libraries for the Source Four Mini outfitted with the MR16 bulb, as well as Mini LED fixtures that possess CRI ratings of 80+ and 90+.

Expanded 3D choices: All Desire and LED Cyc fixtures have two choices of 3D component. While the 2D component is the same between the two, the default 3D component appears as an instrument hung from a batten, while the duplicate resource with the suffix ”FLR” displays a 3D component sitting on the "floor".

3D capabilities: All applicable symbols have the Vw2011 Parts Record--in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically rotates towards an assigned Spotlight focus point. All 3D components are Generic Solids.
