Strand Lighting 4.0 Pack
The Strand Lighting 4.0 Pack is a power upgrade to the Strand product line, more than doubling the size of the object library. It introduces new LED light engine fixtures for both stage and studio lighting, and includes significant additional productss for Ellipsoidals, Fresnels, and Cyc light fixtures.
The Strand Lighting 4.0 Object Library utilizes four new LED Light Engines in several product lines:
The Strand Acclaim product line couples the four-color Profile Light Engine to an diverse series of lens tubes in the Acclaim series of Profiles, along with lenses and reflectors in the Acclaim LED Cyc, LED Fresnel, and LED Zoomspot.
The Strand LEKO LED Profiles utilize three different LED Color Engines: The Full Color, the Cold Tunable White, and the Warm Tunable White Light Engines are paired with a second set of Profile lens tubes to create an array of different-sized light beams. These three LED Light Engines also power the Cantata LED Fresnel seriess, while the Cold White and Full Color Light Engines provide punch for the LEKO LED Outdoor Profiles, lensed for a wide spectrum of beam widths.
The Aurora LED Strip 4 cell and 12 cell fixtures join the Coda LED six-color Cyc to provide a variety of light washes in diverse applications. joining the PLCYC! MKII, PLPROFILE4 MKII, and the entire SPX tungsten and LED Ellipsoidal product lines.
The Studio Lighting Folder starts with the Studio Panel MKII and the 150S and 300S lighting panels in two white color temperature color settings.. The product line also includes the 200F and 400F Fresnels as well.
And this impressive collection of LED lighting fixtures join proven performers ranging from LEKO LIte, Lekolite 2K, LekoLites, PLProfile 4, the SL and SPX series, all the way back to classics such as the Patt.23.
Tighten that Waistband: The new SoftTrim™ macros convert all applicable 3D components to Generic Solids, in order to reduce the overall size of every SoftSymbol resource in an effort to keep light plots compact.
3D components that hang, or sit on the floor: Symbol resources provide default 3D components that appear as fixtures hanging from a batten, or, with a FLR suffix - fixtures sitting on the stage.

SoftMap™: A pdf map matching each object library. The pdf can be printed out to provide a hard-copy reference for all the symbols, regardless of printer.
SoftData™: The latest information, extracted directly from the symbols, and triple-checked using the SoftGauntlet® System. The data is translated into metric units as well—all symbols and resources can convert to metric scale, utilizing Sam Jones' Autoplot for Spotlight macros.
• The Strand Lighting 4.0 Enhanced Vw2017 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2017 environments. All applicable 3D components possess Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. That means the 3D components are attached to the parts record; in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically rotates and aims towards an assigned Spotlight focus point.
• The Strand Lighting 4.0 Enhanced Vw2018-2020 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2018 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. Special code is added to each resource, streamlining the workflow from Spotlight to Vision and GDTF.
• The Strand Lighting 4.0 Enhanced Vw2021 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2021 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. On top of that, the new Parts Record includes the 6th data field for Emitters.
• The Strand Lighting 4.0 Enhanced Vw2022 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2022 environment. All resources retain Vw2011 Focus Functionality® established within the Vw2017 environment. The 2022 Light Info Record also provides additional metric color frame size, power connector, and GDTF data fields.
• The Strand Lighting 4.0 Enhanced Vw2023 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2023 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2023 Light Info Record also includes new data fields to separate DeviceBody from DeviceLens, as well as new data fields for Voltage, Source Wattage, LED Color Temperature, Signal Connector, and GDTF Type ID.
• The Strand Lighting 4.0 Enhanced Vw2024 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2024 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2024 Light Info Record also adds DeviceBody and DeviceLens data cells to integrate symbols into the new Vw2024 Equipment Lists feature.
