High End Lighting 4.1 Pack

The High End Lighting 4.1 Pack has expanded to over 230 resources, reflecting today's current High End product line. The library is constructed so that new and active lighting devices appear at the top of the Resource Manager, while the Legacy product lines shift lower in the document.

The High End Lighting 4.1 Object Library includes the trio of new Halcyon moving lights: The Halcyon Gold, Halcyon Titanium, and Halcyone Platinum, all equipped with either High Fidelity or Ultra-bright light sources. The package also includes the SolaPix 19 XT, who joins the rest of the SolaPix family. The new Talen product line of "snap-together" lighting fixtures includes a single unit, a hinged unit, and an anitomically correct cut-out unit for 2D clarity. And the Ministar and Hyperstar moving light fixtures join the Lonestar. And all of these new arrivals join the diverse collection of existing High End resources:

Control: Starts with the Hog 4-18, Hedge Hog 4X, Mini Wing, the DP8000 and HPU Processors, joined by all the Widgets, right up through the Hedge Hog 4, Master Wing 4, Rack Hog 4, Hog, Road Hog, and Full Boar 4 Consoles.

LED Effects: The HQ-100 Hazer and the FQ-100 Fogger join the Uno, Quad, and Hex LED devices.

LED Movers: The Lonestar, Relevé, and Turboray fixtures join the Cyber LED, and the rest of the LED High End moving light fixtures families:

SolaFrame: The SolaFrame 1000 and SolaFrame 3000 fixtures team up with the SolaFrame 750, 1500, 2000, and SolaFrame Theatre moving light fixtures.

SolaHybeam: This product line includes the SolaHybeam 1000, the SolaHybeam 2000, and the SolaHybeam 3000 moving light fixtures.

SolaPix: This group includes the SolaPix 7, 19, and 37 fixtures, as well as the ShowPix series of moving light fixtures.

SolaSpot: This family includes the SolaSpot 3000, 2000, and 1000 moving light fixtures, along with the SolaSpot Pro CMY mover.

SolaWash: This product line includes the SolaWash 1000, along with the SolaWash 2000-3200 Kelvin, the SolaWash 2000-6500 Kelvin, and the SolaWash 2000-7400 Kelvin movers.

All of these fixtures join the Legacy fixtures, including the Barco and Digital Light projectors, LED effect fixtures, the Cyberlight, intellaspot and X Spot fixtures; not to mention the Studio, Technospot, and TechnoArc lighting fixtures.

Tighten that Waistband: The new SoftTrim™ macros convert all applicable 3D components to Generic Solids, in order to reduce the overall size of every SoftSymbol resource - in an effort to keep light plots compact.

3D components that hang, or sit on the floor: Symbol resources provide default 3D components that appear as fixtures hanging from a batten, or, with a FLR suffix - fixtures sitting on the stage.

SoftMap™: A pdf map matching each object library. The pdf can be printed out to provide a hard-copy reference for all the symbols, regardless of printer.

SoftData™: The latest information, extracted directly from the symbols, and triple-checked using the SoftGauntlet® System. The data is translated into metric units as well—all symbols and resources can convert to metric scale, utilizing Sam Jones' free Autoplot for Spotlight macros.

• The High End Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2017 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2017 environments. All applicable 3D components possess Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. That means the 3D components are attached to the parts record; in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically rotates and aims towards an assigned Spotlight focus point.

• The High End Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2018-2020 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2018 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. Special code is added to each resource, streamlining the workflow from Spotlight to Vision and GDTF.

• The High End Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2021 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2021 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. On top of that, the new Parts Record includes the 6th data field for Emitters.

• The High End Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2022 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2022 environment. All resources retain Vw2011 Focus Functionality® established within the Vw2017 environment. The 2022 Light Info Record also provides additional metric color frame size, power connector, and GDTF data fields.

• The High End Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2023 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2023 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2023 Light Info Record also includes new data fields for Voltage, Source Wattage, LED Color Temperature, Signal Connector, and GDTF Type ID.

• The High End Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2024 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2024 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. The 2024 Light Info Record also adds DeviceBody and DeviceLens data cells to integrate symbols into the new Vw2024 Equipment Lists feature.
