Because of that, if you encounter difficulty with any tool or command of the program other than symbol shape, we are not authorized to provide significant assistance.

Many resources are available to assist learning Vectorworks. Many of the books written by Ms. Janis Kent, including the WorksTutorial and the WorksManual are excellent. Books written by Mr. Kevin Lee Allen are also worthy of review. The discussion forums at Nemetschek (the authors of Vectorworks®), are an excellent place to ask questions. There are Vectorworks® user groups in many cities, and user groups online. Many lighting design instructors and students nation-wide are knowledgeable about many aspects of the program.

By purchasing this product, you agree that you have at least some basic knowledge as to how to use Vectorworks® or an ETC Eos lighting console, and that you understand basic Macintosh and Windows Operating System terms including Open, New File, and Shut Down. By purchasing this product you also agree that you understand basic Vectorworks terms such as marquee-selection, keyboard shortcuts, and the Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) Keys, to name a few. 

If you discover a symbol error, such as incorrect data field information, or a hybrid symbol that doesn’t correctly function in the Vectorworks environment, please contact us so that it can be corrected. But if you have difficulty using tools and commands within the Vectorworks® application or the SpotLight application (such as the Label Legend Manger, Classes, or Layers) this agreement does not give you the right to contact us and expect us to provide you with Vectorworks® technical support. Steve Shelley, David KH Elliott, or Fred Allen are not authorized by Vectorworks to do so. The same goes for ETC Eos console operation.

Agreement

By using this software, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions, do not use the software, and destroy all downloads and copies of downloads.

Warranty: There is none. All products are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. You agree to use this software at your own risk. Under no circumstances shall the Author (Steve Shelley), David KH Elliott, Nick Solyom, former partners (Fred Allen, or employees of FA&A), or Vectorworks or Nemetschek be liable for any damage resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use the software.

Except as expressly stated herein, this agreement does not grant you any intellectual property rights in SoftSymbols or SoftSymbols™, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by Field Template, Field Template LLC, and Steve Shelley. 

You may not rent, lease, sell, sublicense, assign, or transfer your license to any SoftSymbol object libraries or MagicSymbol Magic Sheets without the written consent of Steve Shelley.
