Electronic Theatre Controls 4.1 Combo Pack
The ETC 4.1 Combo Pack is a fresh update to the entire ETC LED product line, and an overhaul to the Tungsten and Selador Strips product lines. All three libraries been certified up-to-date and complete, containing all devices, LED engines [arrays,] and wattages as of January 2024.

Vw2024 Equipment Lists Feature: First off, the 600-pound feature: all three libraries have been stocked with the relevant DeviceBody and DeviceLens data, allowing the lighting devices to seamlessly integrate into the Vectorworks' 2024 Spotlight Equipment Lists feature.
The ETC Tungsten and Selator Striplght Object Libraries get a Makeover! The ETC Tungsten Object Library has also been overhauled and fitted with the latest data to integrate with the 2024 Equipment List feature as well. The ETC Selador Striplight Object Library has been redefined to better adhere to UTF-8 nomenclature, and updated with 3D beam and field angle information for each lighting device.
New Products in the ETC LED Object Library: Version 4.1 adds the ColorSource V series for both Spot and Spot VXT product lines. Both product lines include LED engines powering all profile lens choices, along with Fresnels, Zooms, and Enhanced Definition Lens Tubes [EDLT.] Each product line is grouped into two collections, exhibiting either slashes or numbers in the lenses to denote beam spreads. Other brand-new fixtures include: The fos/4 F10 Lustr8, and fos/4 F10 HDR refources.
Scrutinized for accuracy: All LED spot cut sheets have been re-scrutinized and 2D components have been redrawn to accurately reflect the overall as-built length of spot bodies and lens tubes for the Source Four-Series 3 XDLT, HDR and Lustr spot fixtures. The entire Linear product line has also been rebuilt to simplify attaching Label Legends and visually allowing segretated data to be displayed for each cell. This reconstruction has been undertaken for every CourSource Linear 1, Linear 2, and Linear 4 lighting device.
The ETC 4.1 Combo Pack also includes:
Source Four LED Series 3 Fixture Lines: The complete Source Four Series 3 fixture line, equipped with either Lustr HDR or X8 LED light engines, powering all lens choices.
ColorSource Fixture Lines: ColorSource Spots, cyc units, Linears, Fresnels, and PARs are exhibited with native, Deep Blue, or Pearl LED arrays. Linear libraries include three different 3D components for each fixture; hung from battens, sitting on the deck, or hung "on end" from vertical sidelight hanging positions.
Source 4wrd Fixture Line: The Source 4wrd fixture line includes the Source 4wrd Color array powering both profile fixtures and PAR product lines. The complete Source 4wrd fixture line, packing CRI rated 80+ or 90+ LED engines, powering all lens choices, which is provided with both slashes or numbers/text in the lenses, along with Enhanced Definition Lens Tubes [EDLT]. The Source 4wrd PARs also include single arrays pwered by CRI rated 90+ LED engines, presented with all lens choices, The entire PAR fixture line is provided with both slashes or text in the lenses.
Irideon FPZ and WLZ Fixture Lines: The complete fixture line features narrow, medium, and wide lenses, equipped with CRI rating of 80+, 90+, 4K, and 5K. There's three sets of fixtures; one set consists of hybrid instruments installed as a canopy, a second set hung from a batten, and the third set showing the hybrid symbols connected to overhead ceiling track. This package is replicated as the WLZ product line; same lenses, same three confiturations of canopy, hung from batten, or handing from track.
fos/4 Fresnels and Panels: The fos/4 product range, equipped with the Lustr X8 and Daylight HDR LED arrays; small, medium and large Panels, as well as the fos/4 Fresnels, featuring battery pack inputs.
Desire, LED Cyc Fixture Libraries: The complete Desire D22, D40XT, and D60XTI libraries, completing the Desire series; and all current engine variations of the LED Cyc and the LED Fresnel fixtures.
ColorSource Libraries: The ColorSource PAR and ColorSource Spot fixture range [including all lens possibilities]. The Studio HD and the Series 2 Daylight, Lustr, and Tungsten LED Profiles [with both slashes or numbers in the lenses]. The HXT library includes the addition of the Source 4-HXT 25-50 degree Zoom.
Source Four Mini Libraries: Complete libraries for the Source Four Mini outfitted with the MR16 bulb, as well as Mini LED fixtures that possess CRI ratings of 80+ and 90+.
Expanded 3D choices: All Desire and LED Cyc fixtures have two choices of 3D component. While the 2D component is the same between the two, the default 3D component appears as an instrument hung from a batten, while the duplicate resource with the suffix ”FLR” displays a 3D component sitting on the "floor".
All SoftSymbol libraries come with SoftMap© and SoftData© documents extracted directly from the resources.
The Version 4.1 upgrade to the ETC LED product line has added over 90 updated and improved resources, along with over 65 new resources, bringing the overall total fixtures in the ETC library to over 1,400 resources. Organization of the ETC 4.1 Combo Pack continues to divide the products into three libraries: The ETC LED Object Library, the ETC Tungsten Object Library, and the Selador Striplight Object Library.

TIghten that Waistband: The new SoftTrim™ macros convert all applicable 3D components to Generic Solids, in order to reduce the overall size of every SoftSymbol resource.
The latest data: Filtered SoftData™, reflecting the latest information gleaned from the cut sheets. The data can be translated into metric scales as well, utilizing Sam Jones' free Autoplot for Spotlight macros.
Expanded Graphic Choices: All profile instruments (including HID’s) have two choices of degree designation; either old-school slashes or alphanumeric text in the lens.
Wattage Designation: All Tungsten symbols are duplicated using the Field Template BlackButt™ designation to quickly distinguish between 575 watt and 750 watt units.
3D components that hang, or sit on the floor: Symbol resources provide default 3D components that appear as fixtures hanging from a batten, or with a FLR suffix, fixtures sitting on the stage.
Focusing 3D capabilities: All applicable symbols have the Vw2011 Parts Record--in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically rotates towards an assigned Spotlight focus point. All 3D components are Generic Solids.
TopView hybrid Striplight Symbols: Additional 2D components of the Selador striplight symbols display vertically mounted striplights in groundplan view [without a Light Info Record.] The 3D components of these same symbols show vertical striplights, that can be rendered in Renderworks. For you detail-oriented folks, there's 1 or 2 c-clamp versions of the 11” and 21” striplights.
• The ETC 4.1 Enhanced Vw2017 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2017 environment. All applicable 3D components possess Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. That means the 3D components are attached to the parts record; in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically aims towards an assigned Spotlight focus point.
• The ETC 4.1 Enhanced Vw2018-Vw2020 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2018 environment. All applicable 3D components possess Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. On top of that, special data is added to each resource, streamlining the workflow from Spotlight to Vision and GDTF.
• The ETC 4.1 Enhanced Vw2021 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2020 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision and GDTF. On top of that, the new Parts Record includes the 6th data field for Emitters.
• The ETC 4.1 Enhanced Vw2022 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2022 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2022 Light Info Record also provides additional metric color frame size, power connector, and GDTF data fields.
• The ETC 4.1 Enhanced Vw2023 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2023 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2023 Light Info Record also includes new new data fields for Voltage, Source Wattage, LED Color Temperature, Signal Connector, and GDTF Type ID.
• The ETC 4.1 Enhanced Vw2024 Combo Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2024 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®. The 2024 Light Info Record also adds DeviceBody and DeviceLens data to integrate into the new Vw2024 Equipment Lists feature.
