SoftMap™: A pdf map matching each object library. The pdf can be printed out to provide a hard-copy reference for all the symbols, regardless of printer.
SoftData™: The latest SoftData™, gleaned from the cut sheets, and uploaded into the Light Info Record. It's then collectively triple-checked using the SoftGauntlet® System. The data can be translated into metric units as well—all symbols and resources can convert to metric scale, utilizing Sam Jones' free Autoplot for Spotlight macros, included with every purchase.
Tighten that Waistband: The new SoftTrim™ macros convert all applicable 3D components to Generic Solids, in order to reduce the overall size of every SoftSymbol resource in an effort to keep light plots compact.
3D components that hang, or sit on the floor: Symbol resources provide default 3D components that appear as fixtures hanging from a batten, or, with a FLR suffix - fixtures sitting on the stage.
• The Ayrton Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2017 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2017 environment. All applicable 3D components possess Focus Functionality®. That means the 3D components are attached to the Parts Record; in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically aims towards an assigned Spotlight focus point.
• The Ayrton Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2018-2020 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2018 environment, but can easily be upgraded to either Vw2019 or Vw2020. All resources retain Focus Functionality® regardless of Vectorworks version. On top of that, special data is added to each resource, streamlining the conversion workflow from Spotlight to Vision or GDTF.
• The Ayrton Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2021 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2021 environment. All application 3D components retain Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines the workflow from to Vision or GDTF. On top of that, the new Vw2021 Parts Record includes a 6th data field for Emitters.
• The Ayrton Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2022 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2022 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2022 Light Info Record also provides additional metric color frame size, power connector, and GDTF data fields.
• The Ayrton Lighting 4.1 Enhanced Vw2023 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2023 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2017 Focus Functionality®, along with the special data that streamlines workflow from Spotlight to Vision. The 2023 Light Info Record also includes new data fields to separate DeviceBody from DeviceLens, as well as new data fields for Voltage, Source Wattage, LED Color Temperature, Signal Connector, and GDTF Type ID.
