Altman Striplight 3.6
The Altman Striplight 3.6 Pack is a complete overhaul and upgrade for the multiple Altman striplight product lines, using Linzey Construction Protocol® to make them functional in the Vectorworks Parts Record environment. All of the striplights shown in the document are Vectorworks multi-circuit Lighting Devices. When inserted into a drawing, each striplight will consist of multiple lighting devices, but appear and move as a single unit.
The Altman striplight product lines include: The Ground Cyc, Sky Cyc, Econo Cyc, and Focus Cyc series of striplights. It includes updates to the Microstrip, Zipstrip, R40, PAR 56, and PAR 64 striplight series. It also includes updates to the legacy Borderlight and Disappearing Footlight series.
The Altman Striplight 3.6 Object Library
Altman Striplight 3.6 Pack Also Includes:
SoftMap™: A pdf map matching each object library. The pdf can be printed out to provide a hard-copy reference for all the symbols, regardless of printer.
SoftData™: The latest information, extracted directly from the symbols, and triple-checked using the SoftGauntlet® System. The data is translated into metric units as well—all symbols and resources can convert to metric scale, utilizing Sam Jones' free Autoplot for Spotlight macros.
• The Altman Striplight 3.6 Legacy Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2008, 2009, and 2010 environments. The 3D components are not attached to a parts record—they’re static, and will not aim to a Spotlight focus point.
• The Altman Striplight 3.6 Enhanced Vw2011-Vw2015 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2011-2015 environments. All applicable 3D components possess Vw2011 Focus Functionality®. That means the 3D components are attached to the parts record; in any 3D view, the lighting device automatically aims towards an assigned Spotlight focus point.
• The Altman Striplight 3.6 Enhanced Vw2016 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2016 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2011 Focus Functionality®. The object library is segmented, so that the new Spotlight Instrument Tool can reveal the Pop-up Thumbnail Resource Window.
• The Altman Striplight 3.6 Enhanced Vw2017 Pack is designed in the Vectorworks 2017 environment. All applicable 3D components retain Vw2011 Focus Functionality®. The object library is recombined, allowing the new Resource Manager to display more complete resource names, while the Spotlight Instrument Tool still reveals the Pop-up Thumbnail Resource Window.
